Whatever it is, don’t be afraid of it’s plenty. Joy is not made to be a crumb.
– Mary Oliver

Welcome
I’m Megan, an Integrative Counsellor based in central Exeter and online.
I offer a warm, accepting space where we can begin to make sense of your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
My approach is based on the belief that we all have the capacity to grow, heal, and make meaningful changes. I draw on a range of therapeutic models, which allows our work to be shaped around what feels most helpful for you. We’ll explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck and create space for new ways of relating to yourself and your experiences.
My hope is that our work together helps you to feel more connected to yourself, with greater understanding, empathy, and compassion.
Background & Qualifications
I hold an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling and a Post-Qualifying Diploma in Eating Disorders. I’m also a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
Before becoming a counsellor, I completed a BSc (Hons) in Marine Sports Science in Cornwall, one of my favourite places. During my time there, I became increasingly interested in the link between spending time in nature and its positive impact on wellbeing. I also began therapy myself and experienced first-hand how valuable it can be. This inspired me to train as a counsellor, with the hope of offering others the same sense of peace and joy.
I work with clients aged 18 and over, supporting a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, bereavement, low self-esteem, life transitions, and body image concerns.

The world went on spinning tiredly, & like that I survived another day.
I breath & life keeps coming.

Services
We’ll begin with a free 15-minute consultation call to talk about what’s bringing you to therapy and see if working together feels like the right fit. If we decide to move forward, our first session will offer space for us to connect, further explore what’s brought you here, and discuss what you’re hoping to gain from the process. Ongoing sessions will be guided by your needs and move at a pace that feels right for you.

Sessions last 60 minutes and cost £50. I have a small number of concessionary rates available,
please enquire for details.

Sessions are usually held weekly to begin with, but I can be flexible depending on your needs
and availability.

I work face-to-face, online, and by phone. I’m based at 25 – 26 Gandy Street, Exeter, EX4 3LS.
